Each Florida district school board is required to establish a comprehensive plan for student progression that explains a student’s progression from one grade to another based on the student’s mastery of the standards in s. 1003.41.  The Sarasota County Schools’ Student Progression Plan is based on mastery of English Language Arts, mathematics, science, and social studies standards.
