APPROVAL OF ADOPTION OF THE DISTRICT MAP FOR MEMBER VOTING DISTRICTS
Description
On September 19th the Board approved the contract with Kurt Spitzer and Associates to provide professional redistricting consulting services. In accordance with that contract and with consultation with each Board Member's input, Kurt Spitzer and associates developed and presented two alternative district map solutions during the School Board Workshop on October 3rd. As a result of input from Board Members during the workshop, one of the map alternatives is being considered for approval. This voting member district alternative is map option 1 which modifies School Board Member voting districts to be more in alignment with county commision member voting districts.
