APPROVAL OF THE PURCHASE OF GEODES BY GREAT MINDS
Description
To approve the purchase of Geodes by Great Minds will provide supplemental reading materials for our Literacy Interventionists (K-5) to use for the implementation of structured literacy practices aligned with the Science of Reading.
Gap Analysis
Progress monitoring data indicated the need for Tier 2 and Tier 3 instruction to continue to support reading foundational skills and reading comprehension.
Previous Outcomes
These resources will be utilized to support the new Literacy Interventionist positions.
Expected Outcomes
Students will develop both grade level reading foundational skills which will lead to improved overall reading comprehension.
